**Modified Peoria System - Holes 1, 2, 7, 16, 17, and 18 (blind draw following play) were the six holes used to determine a team handicap if a verifiable GHIN was not available

Alabama 2-Man Tour Play Day Rules

  • Open to all golfers not actively competing on a professional tour

  • 2-Man Team Net Scramble Competition

  • A handicap index is preferred but not required.

  • USGA Recommended Handicap Allowance: A 2-person scramble involves taking 35% of Player A's course handicap and 15% of Player B’s course handicap and adds together

  • *if you don’t have a handicap, you are welcome to play! Your team handicap will be determined by a modified Peoria System following play

  • Player A and Player B cannot have more than a 12-shot difference in their handicap index.

  • Team Gross Skins Game included

  • A minimum of 20% of the field will finish in the money. Lowest Net Team Scores win

  • The Top Finishing Gross Teams will qualify for the Alabama 2-Man Championship

  • *Prize fund based on a full field

Schedule and tournament format: 

Sunday, October 6 | Highlands Course

  • 1:30 Shotgun Start

    • Holes 1-18: 2-Person Scramble

    • Double bogey max on all holes

  • TEES: Men will play the White tees. Women play the Teal tees

  • Registration fees include skins game, team game, all golf fees, and taxes.

Cash prizes are awarded to the top teams in each flight following play. A minimum of 20% of the field will finish in the money.

Each entry includes $25 per player allocated to the team prize fund and $20 per player allocated to the team skins game.

*100% of the prize fund is paid out*
